Red’s True Barbecue is simply the place to be for meat, any type, cooked in every way. With an open mind I kept my eyes firmly on the food that is available to a vegetarian. Unsurprisingly, there’s only one vegetarian burger, suffocated by many other gargantuan extravagant burgers. With that said the Double Bean Burger it was.
((Red kidney and black beans, chipotle, crispy sweet potato, caramelised onions, smoked tomato, avocado, mayo and melted cheese))
I know what you’re thinking, another bean burger but you’d be wrong. This bean burger seemed to be different amongst the rest. Comparing it to the atrocious bean burger I endured in GBK, this was leaps and bounds ahead, in both taste and texture. Everything on the burger was tasted and appreciated with the bean burger having a hard outer exterior and a soft centre which was full of flavour. I do believe that having two bean burgers was unnecessary, one would of been an ample serving but that wouldn’t be in Red’s True Barbecue’s nature would it.
Considering Red’s True Barbecue isn’t a place for a non-meat eater, they did take care while crafting and cooking this burger. There were a few minor issues but I’ll take what I can get these days. Well done Red’s.
