Second burger of the weekend fell upon Gourmet Burger Kitchen, a trustworthy food establishment accompanied with my Girlfriend.
The Blazing Sombrero stood out upon the other dozens of burgers, mainly because of the name but more due to the ingredients, and you’ll see why. They were; Smoked Applewood, chorizo relish, tortilla chips, house mayo, rocket, pickled onions, brioche bun. The first and probably only time I’ll recieve tortilla chips on a burger and that’s a sad thought, but when the burger arrived it stood tall and aestheticly beautful!
Truthfully it took me to around the third bite to truly taste and appreciate the flavours, and I’m putting this down to the excess of ingredients but they all still complemented themselves. I have little words for this burger, it was just mind blowingly good.
Every aspect from the cooking to the presentation was above average, something other burger restaurants can’t deliver is tasting the beef above all of the other contents and this is what GBK do every time. I’ll struggle to avoid this burger next time I visit Gourmet Burger Kitchen, I rate this at a 9 out of 10.
