BYRON BURGER – CLASSIC

– Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, England

It’s becoming quite a common occurance myself visiting Byron Burger for a hamburger, but who’s complaining?

On this timid Saturday night in Manchester, I found myself alone in search for an exquisite find and the ‘Classic’ burger seemed to be the test for this evening. The ingredients were; 6oz hamburger, lettuce, tomato, red onion and mayonnaise, now as you can see there isn’t much mass to this burger, so I was hesitant before ordering but I followed my gut feeling.

For a very plain, simplistic burger this was breathtaking, I didn’t know this many flavours could arise from a burger with such little ingredients! Everything was in the correct amount, apart from the mayonnaise. They had poured the mayonnaise on without care, which resulted in dripping and a mess. I had ordered the sweetpotato chips as a side, for a change and they were very nice. Alittle undercooked in the middle but still very flavoursome, all they were missing was some baconnaise sauce.

Altogether a brilliant burger, well worth the £6.75 that it will cost you. Byron Burger has out done themselves again and I give this gem an 8 out of 10.
