Harveys New York Bar and Grill hasn’t particularly been amoungts the places I eagerly want to visit but a spontaneous suggestion meant I was dining there this evening.
The burger selection was very limited and very plain, now from experience this is usually a positive thing. So I decided to go with the 6oz Bacon Cheese Burger, which was actually the more extravagant burger on the menu. Once arrived, the smell initially was intoxicating, and the exterior looked just as impressive. But the taste, flavours and contents just weren’t up to expectations.
The burger when handled instantly feel apart, it was almost as if while in preparation the burger was thrown together without care, major mistake. It had a measly 1 piece of bacon layed upon a mediocre piece of beef and the salad, let’s just say they don’t skimp out on that.
Now to the good point, yes point. The chips, the chips were surprisingly the best part of the meal, now I’m no potato expert but they were fluffy, salty, flavoursome, well crafted chips. So, overall the chances of myself returning to Harveys New York Bar and Grill is slim, better luck next time.
